Bye Bye Bug’s Land

Saying ‘Goodbye’ to Bug’s Land last week was so hard for me. I absolutely love this place for my little Honorary Bug.  There are not many rides in California Adventure that my two year old can ride, but at least we always had Bug’s Land.

I have heard from a lot of people that they or their kids were scared of “It’s tough to be a bug,” but my family loved it, especially my Mom. It was her absolute favorite thing in California Adventure.

Walt Disney said, “Disneyland will never be finished. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world.” As sad as I am to see it go, the changes are part of Walt’s vision. He definitely intended for Disneyland to change and grow and become a better place for people of all ages. Saying goodbye is hard, but at least when it is finished we get to say Hello to a whole new world of creativity and imagination.

We put these easy Heimlich and Francis bounds together in a matter of minutes, using felt and puff paints. I was also lucky enough to have a watermelon purse and candy corn earrings. You can see them a little in the close up of me.

We have had lots of fun adventures in Bug’s Land though. It was one of our very first bounds we ever did.

From Now until September 4th, when it closes, you can come to the entrance of Bug’s Land and get one of these hats and do some fun activities for your little honorary Bugs! Also this adorable shirt is from @magicapparelproducts

This post was a little different because we had a little problem with the DIY we prepared for this week, AKA Jasmin lost it… ha ha kids, am I right? I hope you enjoyed this short blog post, and as always tag us in your #boundingonabudget pictures!
