One Week of Disney Fun (day 2)

Day 2!
I have been using my Mickey Mouse cookie cutters from AMAZON a lot lately, we made grilled cheese sandwiches and blondies, and mini pizzas, cookies! Ha ha we went a little crazy.

I realized that not everyone wants to or can buy every little cute Disney thing that comes out! So I found a way that anyone can have a Mickey Cookie Cutter! Or whatever shape you want!

The best part? All you need is tinfoil and either a printout of the shape you want, or simply trace it yourself onto a piece of paper.

Take a long piece of tin foil and fold it over and over until it feels fairly sturdy, but still pliable.

Next, using your outline fold your tinfoil into the shape you want. Use a stapler or tape to secure the ends.

Make your cookies and roll out your dough and use it as you would a regular cookie cutter. Please note that it won’t be as sturdy as your normal cookie cutter so you do have to be careful not to bend the cutter out of shape.

Frost your cookies and eat!

RECIPE:

I have been making sour cream sugar cookies since I was a little girl with my mom! They are my absolute favorite! The sour cream makes the cookies extra soft and moist.

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup sour cream

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp nutmeg

1 cup butter

1 tsp baking soda

1 cup sugar

4 cups flour

Mix wet ingredients, then dry ingredients, then flour, a little at a time.

400° For 5-7 minutes
